Gray Zone Consulting is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business uniquely qualified to provide expert insight on emerging national security trends, special operations capabilities, and innovative intelligence solutions. With more than 34 years of experience in the National Intelligence Community including 21 years directly supporting Special Operations around the globe, Gray Zone Consulting brings a unique and unparalleled understanding of the Special Operations community, the intelligence support required for sensitive activities, and the intricacies of generating policy and doctrine to guide and shape strategic decisions.
Owned and operated by Anthony Gilgis, Gray Zone Consulting currently serves as the Principal Consultant on the Intelligence Support to Irregular Warfare portfolio within the Office of the Under Secretary for Intelligence and Security developing policy, strategy, and doctrine required to support the Defense Intelligence Enterprise. Previously, Mr. Gilgis served as the senior advisor on Middle East Counterterrorism Policy within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operation & Low-Intensity Conflict during periods of crisis and strategic shift.
Gray Zone Consulting has a proven track record identifying emerging trends and developing corresponding actions to exploit opportunities and meet anticipated requirements. Staffed by a seasoned team, Gray Zone Consulting provides multi-faceted Program Executive services with an exemplary background serving in a variety of senior leadership roles encompassing intelligence analysis, counterterrorism operations, foreign affairs, national-security policy development, and implementation of strategy in support of Special Operations, Special Projects, and Sensitive Activities.
